Christina Andrei is a certified group fitness instructor and past running coach with the Running Room and indoor cycling instructor at the Regina YMCA.
Christina’s love for running started in 2008. It started as a social outlet and a healthy way to get out of the house for “mommy” time. She took up marathon running and has run several half marathons, as well as a full marathon in Long Beach California. She has given motivational talks to running groups, using her past fitness/running/weight loss experience to encourage others to start or continue on their running and/or weight loss journey.
“Becoming a fitness instructor is something I have always wanted to do, I should have done it a million years ago. It’s an awesome and rewarding experience to help someone start their fitness journey and watch them attain their goals. It’s also amazing to watch someone come into your class tense and stressed from a hard day at the office, but leave smiling and sweaty and you know you just turned their day around (and kicked their butt a little). This has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.”
